About Me
My love of plants began as a child with my grandma and my mom, whose influence shaped my lifelong passion. Spending time with grandma on the farm and mom in her lush backyard garden, I was surrounded by the beauty and complexity of nature. Love of plants goes back for generations. My favorite place was the herb garden. I always enjoyed putting different herbs together to make unique tasting herbal teas. As time went on I started studying plants and herbs. I became certified in herbology and decided it was time to share my teas.
About Our Teas
Our tea blends are hand crafted using my own recipes and only organic or wild crafted ingredients. Quality is our priority, including our line of high end Japanese green teas. We bag up our teas by weight, not by volume. There are factors that can affect the number of cups you will enjoy. Some ingredients are light and fluffy and some are dense and heavy. Also, a heaping teaspoon of tea can vary depending on how strong or delicate you like your tea. The “Try It” teas, one can expect, on average, to enjoy 10 cups of tea per 1 oz package. The 2.5 - 5 ounce teas, one can expect, on average, to enjoy 30 cups of tea per package. Some teas will have less and some teas will have more. The weight of the ingredients will affect the number of cups the same way it affects the net weight. We are confident that you will appreciate the care and love that is in every bag and every cup.
